How to Enable Copilot in PowerPoint

  1. Check Your Subscription and License

    • Ensure you have an eligible Microsoft 365 subscription (such as Business Standard, Business Premium, Business Basic, Apps for business/enterprise, E3, or E5).
    • You must also have a Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on license assigned to your account. This add-on is purchased separately and is required for Copilot features in PowerPoint.

  2. Update Microsoft PowerPoint

    • Open PowerPoint and go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now to ensure you have the latest version.
  3. Sign In

    • Once enabled, you’ll see the Copilot icon (a sparkle or Copilot logo) in the PowerPoint ribbon, usually on the Home tab.
